Grauman’s Chinese Theater was always like the Maltese Falcon to me: The Stuff Dreams are Made Of. I know it’s just a movie theater but growing up watching old Hollywood, it was so much more than that, it was something truly special, something that scream old Hollywood glamor. While it is true that reality is not ever the same as what’s in our minds (man it’s over crowded and chaotic!), I still felt a tingle and an excitement to walk where so many of my heroes had walked years earlier. It’s so incredibly impressive to have walked in it’s shadow and it really was very special to me. If you are in any way a film buff or love film, you owe it to yourself to visit Hollywood at least once in your life.
