Playing With My Holga Lens

For my birthday I received a Holga lens that fits right onto my digital camera, so I get the eeriness and manual photography feel of the Holga, but all the benefits of a digital camera. While the camera needs a lot of light in order to take pictures, what it does take is amazing. I snapped this in Patrick’s backyard just to test out the lens, and I’m more than amazed at what I saw. I love the way the colors look and the faded quality of the picture. It’s the best of both worlds for me, I can continue taking slightly creepy pictures but I don’t have to worry about where I’m going to find my next roll of film.
